Hero Vida V2 Electric Scooters Launched Under Rs 1 Lakh Price Range
Hero MotoCorp has entered the affordable electric scooter segment with the launch of the Vida V2 series, starting at ₹96,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Vida V2 is available in three variants: Lite, Plus, and Pro. Each of these models is equipped with unique features tailored to different riding needs.
The Vida V2 scooters are powered by removable, IP67-rated battery packs across all variants. The V2 Lite is powered by a 2.2 kWh battery, providing a range of 94 km, while the V2 Plus comes with a 3.44 kWh battery providing up to 143 km on a single charge. The V2 Pro, the highest variant, is fitted with a 3.94 kWh battery, delivering an impressive range of 165 km. The V2 Lite has a top speed of 69 km/h, while the V2 Plus reaches 85 km/h, and the V2 Pro has a top speed of 90 km/h.
All variants have a motor with a peak output of 6 kW, delivering 25 Nm of torque. The Vida V2 can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Hero's electric scooters come with multiple riding modes, including Eco, Ride, Sport, and a customisable mode available only in the V2 Pro.
The Vida V2 scooters are compatible with Hero MotoCorp’s VIDA fast-charging network, which spans over 3100 charging points across 250+ cities in India. This network allows for convenient charging, unlike some competitors like Honda’s Activa Electric, which do not offer home charging options.
In terms of features, the Vida V2 series is equipped with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle telematics, regenerative braking, cruise control, and keyless entry. The V2 Pro variant also adds custom riding modes for a more tailored riding experience.
The Vida V2 maintains a similar design to the V1, featuring dual-tone body panels, a fairing-mounted LED headlamp, and a 2-piece seat. The scooter is built for comfort and convenience with modern design elements and technology.
The Vida V2 comes with a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty on the scooter, along with a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty on the battery, ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind for users.
The Hero Vida V2 series is available at the following ex-showroom prices:
V2 Lite: ₹96,000
V2 Plus: ₹1,15,000
V2 Pro: ₹1,35,000
With its competitive pricing and advanced features, the Hero Vida V2 is set to be a strong contender in the electric scooter market.
